Indigo is a pickleball coach with a passion for nurturing talent and instilling a love for the game. A lifelong athlete, she was a competitive runner starting in junior high, competing in cross-country and track throughout high school and college. Her love of outdoor sports has taken her to many amazing places, completing triathlons, marathons, and even riding her bicycle solo across the U.S. As a professional disc golfer, she toured the United States and learned the importance of developing a strong mental game, which allows her to keep her cool when under pressure on the pickleball court.
With an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, Indigo has worked as a computer network engineer and certified trainer of computer professionals. Most recently, she has been learning the art of writing grants for large non-profit organizations. She is passionate about balancing work and play, mental agility with physical fitness. Indigo began playing pickleball in 2021, and quickly became obsessed with the beautiful simplicity and also intricate complexities of the game. With a coaching philosophy that emphasizes not just the technical aspects but also the importance of discipline, positive mental attitude, and sportsmanship, Indigo has introduced people of all abilities, ages and walks of life to the game. Her ability to tailor training programs to suit individual needs while fostering a supportive and motivating environment has garnered praise and recognition within the pickleball community. Apart from coaching, Indigo is actively involved in organizing clinics, workshops, and community programs aimed at promoting the sport and enhancing the skills of aspiring players. She is dedicated to supporting all levels of pickleball enthusiasts while instilling lifelong values through the sport. |
